# Best practices

## Tips for writing content

**When writing content, rely on existing documents:**

* Training
* Coaching
* Knowledge Base
* Call Scripts
* Communication Charter
* Product Sheets

**Minimise the time spent reading information in the content card:**

* Use a "list" format when possible. Images can be embedded when they facilitate conversation.
* Include links to more detailed documents, if necessary.
* Use bold and italics.
* Avoid scrolling text within the window.

**We recommend using multiple tabs when:**

* The content is too long for a single CogNeed window.
* You need to prioritise the information related to the topic at hand.
* The keyword may be used in multiple contexts requiring tailored content.
* Multiple responses are possible.

**Recommendations for using tabs:**

* Choose a logical and short title, appropriate for the context of use. For example, for the "Contract" content card, you could create the following tabs: "Opening," "Termination," "Suspension," or "Complaint."
* It is recommended to put the tab that will be used most frequently first.
