# Advanced settings

You can access the advanced settings of each decision tree by clicking on the following tab:

## Subtree

Allows you to configure a sequence of decision trees to sequence a complex process. When you define a tree as a subtree, the following icon appears in the decision tree summary table:

Once this setting is selected, you can use this decision tree as a subtree. To do this, click the "**Configure a tree sequence**" button, which appears on the nodes that have <mark style="color:green;">**previously been defined as leaves**</mark>, and follow the steps:

## Hide result

When you define a tree as a subtree, the following advanced settings option appears: "**Include the result of this subtree in the parent tree report.**"

If this option is enabled, the results sheet of this subtree will be included in the final report of the parent tree, and vice versa.

## Personal Notes

By checking this box, you enable the ability for your users to enter personal notes at each node (step).
