# Temporary cards

A content card can be made temporarily active so that, if its content is inherently valid for a limited period (promotion, special offer, etc.), it automatically becomes inactive on a specific date.

An alarm clock icon indicates that a date has been set for deactivation. Hovering your mouse cursor over the alarm clock displays the exact deactivation date:

On the content card creation/edit page, the display also shows you this information as follows:

## Schedule a temporary card

1. Go to a content page and click "Active."<br>

2. Click "***Schedule deactivation***" and enter the deactivation date.<br>

3. Confirm your selection.
