🗣️Context
A Context allows you to trigger the display of different content cards for the same vocal trigger. A Contextual Display only occurs when the associated context, then the vocal trigger, are successively detected.
For example, when 2 products are associated with the contexts Product1 and Product2, the contextual vocal trigger "Pricing" can trigger the contextual displays Product 1 Pricing or Product 2 Pricing depending on the context detected in the CogNeed session.
Create a context
In the "Vocal Triggers" section of your project, click the button at the bottom of the page. Enter its name and confirm. You can then assign it a colour.

For each context created, you must specify:
One or more voice triggers: These are the vocal triggers that will trigger the context in your users' sessions. For example, in the case of the "Product 1" context, the logical vocal trigger would be "Product 1".
One or more voice triggers linked to contextual displays: These are the vocal triggers that will trigger the display of a specific content card when a context has previously been triggered. For example, in the case of the "Product 1" context, the "Subscription" vocal trigger could trigger the "Product 1 Subscription" content card.
Add a vocal trigger that triggers
If the vocal trigger already exists, click the pencil icon in the "Action" column. If it doesn't yet exist, create it using the article Create a vocal trigger
In the "Display" section, check the box that identifies the vocal trigger as a context switch trigger and select the associated context from the drop-down list—in our example, "Product 1."
Save your changes or finish creating the vocal trigger.
A blue arrow icon
appears to the left of the vocal trigger to indicate its context trigger status.
It is possible to associate multiple triggers with the same context.
Add a vocal trigger linked to a pop-up display
If the vocal trigger already exists, click the pencil icon in the "Action" column. If it doesn't yet exist, create it using the article Create a vocal trigger
In the "Display" section, click "Add a Contextual Display" and fill in the following fields:
Associated context - in our example, "Product 1"
Content sheet to display - in our example, "Product 1 Subscription"
Save your changes or finish creating the vocal trigger.
Done! You now have a "Product 1" context triggered by the pronunciation of the "Product 1" vocal trigger and a "Subscription" contextual vocal trigger that triggers the "Product 1 Subscription" contextual display when the "Product 1" context is active in your users' sessions.
