🗣️Create a vocal trigger

Click the button in the Vocal Triggers section of your project. A trigger creation request window appears:

1. Choose between Vocal Command and Intention

You must first enter the name of the command following the Rules and recommendations or the Intentions.

  • Command:

    • You can use 1 or more words, or even a full sentence. Keep in mind that the shorter the vocal command, the more likely it is to be detected in a conversation, and vice versa.

    • You can use words that are not part of the French language dictionary (competitor names, acronyms, products, ...), we call these specific vocal commands (as opposed to generic ones). On average, CogNeed AI™ takes 24 to 48 hours to learn to detect a specific vocal command. You don't have to do anything more, you will receive a notification on the platform when the status of the specific order has changed (active, canceled, declined)!

  • Intention:

    • Select the name of the intention you created with the examples. See the Intentions article to learn how to create an intention.

Command: The trigger is a group of words that must be pronounced either by the agent or by the other person (Dual Channel). The trigger will only work if the words are pronounced as documented or very close (conjugation, 3 seconds instead of 2 seconds for example). The advantage of this mode is the speed of detection. It is best used when possible.

2. Display

Optionally, select a content card to associate with the vocal command or intention by clicking the drop-down list for all the content cards in your project.

If you keep the default setting, "No associated card," the vocal command/intention will not trigger anything on your user's screen, but will be detected when spoken to enhance detection statistics.

The "Add a contextual display" button and the "Add a context switch trigger" box that follows are explained in the article Context.

If your organisation has subscribed to the Dual Channel option, check the "Only the agent can trigger the display" box if you want the vocal command/intent to only trigger displays if spoken by your users, and not by their interlocutors.

3. Topics

Select an existing topic to associate with the vocal command/intent, or create a new one by referring to the article Topics.

4. Settings

Check the "Enable detection alerts" box if you want to add this vocal command/intention to the list of vocal triggers that will notify supervisors on this project when spoken.

5. Verification and validation

Once all of these elements have been completed:

  • Click the button if vocal commands have been verified in your organisation.

  • Click the button if vocal commands have not been verified in your organisation.

    • If the vocal command is generic, the following text appears: Click the button to complete the creation.

    • If the vocal command is specific, the following text appears: Click the button to complete the creation.
