# Content cards

When you start a session, Live Application listens to you and gives you access to vocal detection. This makes the following features available:

1. **History**. For each spoken word that CogNeed knows, an associated content card appears in the history. You can click on it to return to a previously covered topic.

2. **Associated cards**: A feature that connects two content cards together, making it easier to navigate between them. Links to other cards can be clicked at any time to display related information.
3. **Recently updated cards**: They have a tag to indicate that the content is new or has been updated ![](https://160715368-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FRFCbypPSQCx2ezWjFUPY%2Fuploads%2FsLGz4mT0egsmyMcLINBp%2Fimage.png?alt=media\&token=b721d687-3018-451f-b0a4-cb9fec544db1)
4. **Session length**: This allows you to keep in mind the duration of the conversation.

The cards can be organised by tab to make the information more digestible, and can also contain:

* Text
* Links
* Images
* Tables
* Videos and GIFs
* Reduced content
* Documents (PDF, Excel, etc.)

A link to a decision tree or to a content card takes you there directly, without leaving the application. The behaviour of other link types (image, document, video, external link) depends on your deployment type and configuration: they may open within the application or in your default browser.
