Create a tree

1. Click on or

   1. Inserting a tree means importing a tree already made into the organisation. You can also modify it by clicking on “See details”

2. Give it a name and validate

3. To fill it out click on “See details”

Once inside your tree, you see how to build it:

At the end of creating your tree, you will have the possibility to preview it.

1. You find a first node containing the type, name and content of the step

2. The type, name and content. The place where we will edit each node with the type, name, content and adding destinations

   1. Step type: There are 3 step types which are grouped by category. This could be a question, a customer action or information

   2. Step name: The name describes the question or action. For example, if the question is "how to log in to CogNeed account", the step name will be "login". Afterwards, you must respect the maximum number of characters.

   3. Content: In the content, write a question, a description that will take you to the next node.

      
   4. Destination: They make it possible to distribute the different response elements of the question, information or customer action. You can add one or more destinations to your question. Each destination has a value and a name.

      

How to insert an existing branch?

1. Go to the node from which you want to insert an already existing branch

2. Click "Insert existing branch"

3. Click on the node you want to insert

4. Give it a value and choose if you want sync or not

5. You're done!

A simple duplication allows you to insert the same number of destinations with different values and different content.

A duplication with synchronisation will insert the same destinations and the same contents as the parent node.

The inserted branch will be updated automatically if the existing branch is updated and vice versa.

Personal notes

By checking this box, you enable the possibility of adding a note to each node. These notes will appear in the summary at the end of the tree.
