# News

**News**: information item intended for all users of one or more projects, and published on the Live Application home page for a specific period.

**News** items allow you to create information to be pushed to users on the Live Application homepage.

## Write a news article

* Click the button <img src="https://160715368-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FRFCbypPSQCx2ezWjFUPY%2Fuploads%2FbkxqurhVCt2yw65QoWqd%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=c6313e57-5c81-4af9-a46e-154ee0879224" alt="" data-size="line">
* Give this news a title: ℹ️ <mark style="color:red;">Without a title, you won't be able to publish or validate the news.</mark>
* Enter its content (text, images, tables, links, gifs, etc.)
* Click "**Save**"

This news item is saved as a draft and is not currently published in any project.

## Change a state

News items can have several statuses:

* Draft
* Published
* Scheduled Publication
* Expired

A news item is created in ***Draft***. By clicking on its status, you can "Publish Now" or "Schedule Publication."

Once the news item is ***Published***, you can "Schedule Expiration" or "Expire Now" by clicking on its status again.

Once the news item is ***Expired***, you can "Publish Now" or "Schedule Publication" by clicking on its status again.

## Publish in a project

To publish a news item to a project:

1. Click the blue underlined text to the left of the status of the news item you wish to publish: "<mark style="color:purple;">Included in no projects</mark>" or "<mark style="color:purple;">Included in N projects.</mark>"
2. Select the projects in which you wish to publish the news item and close the window.
