# Create/edit a content card
{% hint style="success" %} **Tip**: The "Preview" button located at the top right of the screen allows you to see your changes and what they look like from the user's perspective in the Live Application at any time.

## Create a content card
1. Click the "**Create a card**" button: 
2. Enter the title of the content card: ideally, it should be concise, precise, and neither too long nor too short. The idea is that your users can get an idea of its content at a glance.
3. If you want to make this card temporary, check the option. For more information on this feature, see the article [temporary cards](/cogneed-centre-daide/cogneed-help-center/dashboard/content-management/project/content-cards/temporary-cards.md).
4. Click the "**Confirm**" button.

## Add content
1. Click the "**Create a tab**" button.
1. Enter the tab title: ideally, it should be concise, precise, and neither too long nor too short. The idea is that at a glance, your users can get an idea of its content.
2. Use the content editor to add relevant information.

Content is **automatically saved** as you make changes.

## Content Editor Options
1. Bold, italics, underline;
2. Bullets, numbers, tabs;
3. Text alignment;
4. Adding links, images, tables, emojis
* Emojis are used directly in the content editor by typing "**:**", then writing the word corresponding to the emoji you're looking for. For example, to get a ❤️, write "**:heart**".
5. Text and background colour
6. CogNeed features:
* Collapsed content: Within a card, content initially presented by its title only, but which can be expanded by the user with one click. This collapsed content, by being condensed, improves the readability of cards for users.
* Link to a decision tree: inserts, within the text, a clickable link to an existing decision tree, displayed as a coloured button. See the "Insert a link to a decision tree" section below.
* Link to a content card: inserts, within the text, a clickable link to another content card (the whole card or a specific tab), displayed as a coloured button. See the "Insert a link to a content card" section below.
* Add a document (PDF, Excel, Word, etc.)
7. Feature allowing the addition of a calculator within content cards: requires specific CogNeed development. To benefit from this feature, contact your dedicated CogNeed CSM.

## Organise a content card
Domino icons  allow you to order your content within the card in click-and-drag mode.
## Insert a link to a decision tree
From the content editor, click the decision-tree link icon in the toolbar : 
Then choose the target decision tree from the list.
A clickable coloured button linking to the chosen decision tree is inserted.
## Insert a link to a content card
From the content editor, click the content-card link icon in the toolbar : 
Search for the target content card, then choose to link the whole card or a specific tab of it.
A clickable coloured button linking to the chosen card (or tab) is inserted.
## Link a content card
A content card can be automatically linked to other content cards, so your users can switch between them with a single click, without having to say a vocal trigger.
To do this, in the "**Linked Cards**" section, select the content cards you want to link.
